The name on the marriage is listed as Thomas B. Chitisder; 24 Feb 1870. Amanda J. Brummett is the daughter of Wilburn Brummett & Elizabeth Goddard. They are in Jack County as early as 1860, but we have nothing more on Thomas before he married Amanda.

We have an Amanda J. Brummett who married Thomas Chidister 24 Feb 1870 Jack County, Texas.

In the 1870 Jack County census Thomas Chidister is listed as age 36, born AL; occupation - driving stage. He died before 1880; leaving behind his widow Amanda and three children: Eliza, James B. and John Chidister.
